The attempt to adhere to the neighborhood school goal means that your children will most likely attend the school in the community in which you buy real estate. Children attend the neighborhood elementary school which feeds into a particular middle school (along with other elementary schools), which, in turn, feeds into a high school (along with other middle schools).
